VPN for Google TV

VPN for Google TV

About Google TV:

Google TV is not actually a Television. It is a smart TV platform co-developed by leading IT companies’ consortium which includes Intel, Logitech and Sony. In simple words, it is an Android based operating system specifically developed for Smart TV’s. You can either choose to buy Smart TV’s that have Google TV pre-installed or you can purchase devices based on Google TV platform that allow the users to stream entertainment from Internet on high-definition television.

The Smart TV can connect to the Internet wirelessly or through Ethernet port and allow user to add Web-based services according to his/her preferences. One of the outstanding features of Google TV is full version Chrome browser that allows user to access all Internet services which include Gmail, YouTube, Flickr and several other reputed online services.

The strength of Google TV is online content.  The benefit of purchasing a Google TV is lost if you live in a county where majority of the features and services accessible through Google TV are not available.

A VPN service can maximize the benefits that come with Google TV.  Due to license restrictions, accessing Google TV is not possible from every country. A VPN service can solve all content access problems related to Google TV. The VPN service can provide you IP address of United States or any other country where Google TV is legitimately available. Another benefit of using connecting Google TV through VPN is anonymity. A VPN connection follows high encryption standard which ensures you enjoy total anonymity during entire Internet session.
